Announcing a New, Generously Supported, Economics Conference and Call for Papers, on "Ethics, Integrity, and Responsible Leadership in Economics"
Dear Colleagues,

Please see and share this announcement about a new economics conference on "Ethics, Integrity, and Responsible Leadership in Economics." 

The conference will be held in the St. Louis area from 1:30 PM on Friday, September 23rd, to 4:30 PM on Saturday, September 24th. It will consist of sessions with three or four paper presentations, and plenary lectures by distinguished speakers. Topics of interest will include, but will not be limited to, ethics, integrity, and responsible leadership in: (1) economics courses, (2) the history of economic thought, (3) the functioning of market systems, (4) replication and validity in economic research, (5) financial crises and their prevention, and (6) government regulation. 

The conference is being hosted by the Center for Economics and the Environment of the Hammond Institute at Lindenwood University. It is being organized by Lindenwood University Professors Richard G. Anderson and Areerat Kichkha, and by the Association for Integrity and Responsible Leadership in Economics and Associated Professors (AIRLEAP.org), Central US Regional Office.

Anyone interested in presenting a paper, or in proposing a session for the conference, should respond to our call for papers. Papers and proposed sessions will be considered and accepted as they are received, and on a continual basis until September 1st. Applications require only abstracts of no more than 300 words, and graduate students in economics and related fields are welcome to apply.

This special event is being sponsored generously by the Center for Economics and the Environment! Attendance is only $35, and is FREE for all full-time students and FREE for paper presenters.
