For over 50 years Mass NOW has been one of the leading multi-issue, multi-strategy feminist organizations in the Commonwealth. Today, we are a member-led grassroots organization and we thrive on the support of our volunteers, supporters, and allies.
Mass NOW PAC
The Mass NOW PAC endorses feminist candidates for office and works to get them elected.
Time Commitment: Election Season (now!) Weekly meetings in May, 8-10 nights in June for endorsement interviews & decision, 5-10 hrs a month July-September volunteering on key campaigns.
FUNraising Events Committee
Help us plan fun feminist fundraising events around the Commonwealth to sustain our full time feminist organizing.
Time Commitment: Biweekly meetings Wednesday’s at 5pm.
Massachusetts Menstrual Equity Coalition
Since 2019, Mass NOW has led the MA Menstrual Equity Coalition to convene and mobilize activists across the state working to end period poverty. Join this intergenerational group of 200+ activists organizing actions at the State House, on social media and everywhere in between. Learn more at mmecoalition.com
Time Commitment: Monthly coalition meetings on the first Tuesday of the month, subcommittees meet in between.
Now offered on a sliding scale, membership allows Mass NOW and our local chapters to advocate more effectively for change that will positively impact the lives of women and girls in our state. The more members we have, the more power we have, and the louder and stronger our collective voice becomes.
